To the Newly Engaged Brides

Sunday, December 27, 2015

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You are in absolute shock. He asked and you of course you said: " Yes"!  You are staring at the most beautiful ring you've ever placed your eyes upon and you're saying "This cant be real!" I am engaged to the man of my dreams, my best friend, my LOVE.

You take a moment to think to yourself, "I never thought this day would come, I am getting married!"  following that, you thank and acknowledge those who witnessed the most amazing day of your life.

Then you take another moment and say to yourself, as happy as can be, and ask... "I have to start planning, but where do I begin?"

You locate and interview three Wedding Planners. Now you're stuck with the question, who will be the one to organize the most important milestone of my life?  Remember, you have to establish a great connection with your planner, because he/she will be your "BFF" through the entire preparation process of your special day.

Your wedding planning should be eight months to a year long. If your wedding date is a sure date, then it is a shorter process. Once you have settled everything and you're ready to go, It is time to start the most memorable journey of your life.

I always advice my brides, before selecting a Wedding Planner to always remember the three "R's". Make sure that your Wedding Planner is...
1. Responsible.
2. Reputable.
3. Reliable.

To the Groom, A mother's LOVE

Share this Moment with your MOM

My Son

Today I share the experience of  being the Mother of The Groom, assisting her Son the Groom get ready to enter a new Chapter in his already amazing Life.

I remember snapping his "Onesy", baby undies.  I remember dressing him up for kindergarten.  I remember getting him ready for Prom, and making sure he looked great on his Graduation day. He then left to become a United State Airmen and once again I felt the proudest mom ever.

Then the biggest day of his life arrives, his Wedding Day and I get to do it one last time.  The feeling of being alive, the feeling of JOY and Happiness overwhelmed me. I could not be more proud of the man he has become and I know for sure he will be an amazing husband.

Grooms, as a Wedding Planner and mom, make sure you have that moment with your mom, a private moment of just conversation without interruptions, a moment of prayer or Mom helping you with getting ready. Those moments are priceless and full of extreme joy for a mom, it is a feeling that only a mother who loves unconditional, cheers loudly and supports indefinitely could have.

Thank you my son Fabian

When A Father see's his Daughter for the 1st time.....

Friday, December 4, 2015

Brides, please ask your amazing photographers to capture this moment.  I know that there are amazing photographers that do, but in the rush and running around of the day, sometimes this moment is never truly caught, capturing the raw emotion of a fathers true feelings.

When a father see's his daughter for the first time on her wedding day Priceless!

That moment when he is taken back to when he was holding her for the first time in his arms as a new born and whispering to her, " I will always love you, protect you and keep you close to my heart.  I know the day will come when I will have to give you up to the man you will eventually fall in love with and make you his wife.  I just hope he will make you as happy and as loved as  I did.

These where words spoken by this beautiful brides father.

The Ocasio's Wedding
November 28th, 2015

When I received the call from this couple, I was more than elated to be planning and coordinating their amazing wedding.

If you don't believe in fate and destiny believe it.

The groom, Ivan knew his bride Iris, since they where  young teens,  he was  his brides true love and she was his girlfriend as teenagers.  They both grew up,  moved to different states, married and had children, but as fate or destiny  would have it.  They reconnected through our amazing social media outlet Facebook.  Twenty plus years later they saw each other and knew that it was the perfect time to be together forever.

While planning this amazing wedding, the Bride Iris mentioned she wasn't to much into the lace, ruffles and bling.  She was very simple and really didn't want too much to go into the design.  The Groom was right there with her.

Less is more and that is exactly what they got. Her expression when she had her reveal was priceless.
Thank you for honoring us at Annie Muniz & Associates, Event & Wedding Planners with the pleasure of being your Wedding and Event Planners. Congratulations to you both.

To All Newly engaged couples.

Previously I have blogged on my advice to Brides, and have written on the importance of hiring a Reputable, Reliable and Responsible experienced Wedding Planner..

I am sharing a story for you to always keep in mind that hiring what I call a "RRR" Planner is truly the way to go, clink on the link below and watch why.

http://www.clickorlando.com/news/bridetobe-wedding-planner-ripped-me-off/36524468

Remember this always

You and your Coordinator should be a perfect fit.

You will now be entering a new "relationship", your planner will now become your friend, confident,  but most importantly someone you will always be able to reach out to for just about anything pertaining to your Wedding or Event.
So if you are feeling a bit nervous, uncomfortable and not really feeling it will be a match with he or she, it is a good indication you are not a match, so continue your search.  I am sure you will find the Perfect Planner.

Do your research.

Be sure to ask questions, ask for references, ask to see the planners social media outlets,  ask to see testimonials and reviews.

Do not sign anything before reading it thoroughly.

I will always be here to guide you right.  Happy Planning.

Before you sign any contract for your special day.

When hiring an Event planner or a Wedding Professional, it is the most important and smart decision you will make.  Whether  it be a Birthday your planning, or your wedding, please make sure of these important points:

 POINTS:

  1. Make sure you choose a Reliable, Responsible and Reputable Planner or Wedding Professional.
  2. Ask to see pictures of previous event they have done, publications they have been featured on, read some of their testimonials, get references.
  3. Your 1st impression is always an indication of whether or not they are a  match for you.
A first impression is so important for just about anything you do.  Remember this person you choose to hire will now be part of a very important day in your life.  You will be building a relationship with them.

Your first consultation should be informative and it will help you see their aesthetics and work ethic.  It will also let you know if their  knowledgeable and understands your vision.

Establishing good communication is key. So keep that in mind  when you choose your next wedding professional and Event Planner.

Ask questions, there is no silly question, everything you will ask is very important during the planning process.

Here are a few questions that you should be asking and are totally allowed.

How long have you been doing this type of work?
How many Weddings/Events have you done?
Do you like what you do?
What type of training have you had?
What is your payment policy and your terms?
What is your fee?

 .
An experience coordinator, event planner  or wedding professional should always make sure that you understand what their job is and will be.  Never feel like you can not ask questions. Feel free to consult with your coordinator, planner or wedding professional on all matters of your event.

I hope this helps, and if you are searching for an experience Event Planner and Wedding Professional, search no more here we are.

The Wedding day for The Wheeler's

Kathy  & Pierre Wedding

(this image was captured with my cell)

When you know you have met your partner for life, your best friend, the man that has made you his Queen.

Its Wedding Day

The day has arrived for Kathy and Pierre.  A long awaited day for them. They  expressed their love for each other in front of their closets friends and family. The details and all elements of decor had a meaning to them. It truly represented them as a couple with details to honor and remember the brides Mom, who wasn't present physically, but surely was in spirit.

This day came with a lot of highs and lows the true meaning of a roller coaster ride of emotions, but without those emotions I believe it wouldn't have come out the way it did.  Perfect !

During the Planning process my "Advice to the Bride" was,
remember always your wedding should be a reflection of you both, music should be about you all, and images should capture the moment.
Remember to take a breath and look around take it all in".

The Planing and Coordinating of this Event was amazing, and will be very memorable for a long time.

Thank you both for having the trust and confidence in us at

Annie writes about Quince Celebration

Sarah's Quince

As I planned and got ready for an amazing young ladies celebration of her 15th Birthday, I remember when my parents started to plan mine, and what that celebration signified to me and to  all the young ladies that shared in this Latin Traditions.

Here is a little bit of what this celebration is all about. Quinces are a celebration of a 15 year old girl. Nowadays we are seeing more and more young boys wanting to create their own Quince celebration. Why not? Traditions and Trends are always made and made to be broken, some we all wish wouldn't,  but i am totally  accept  them all.

This custom and tradition started many years ago in the Latin American society. It was known to celebrate the transition from childhood to young woman hood. The celebrations starts with embracing religious customs, by having a full catholic mass, celebrating family and entering social responsibility. The Quinceanera traditionally is to recognized the journey she has had in her younger years to the maturing young woman she is now becoming. This custom and tradition has long highlighted faith, her friends and her family with music, dancing and amazing food.

Here is a fun fact:This tradition was also to prepare the girl in faith to become a nun amazingly enough for those that didn’t know this fact.

Here are some amazing images of one Quince I recently planned.  Thanking The Bernard Family and Sarah for trusting in me to Coordinate and Plan Sarah's amazing Birthday celebration.  These images will  show you how this particular celebration turned out.

Thank you to to the following Industry professionals that made this happen and for their amazing craft.  The entertainment  accept of this celebration truly embraced all that was asked for from our client.
